Background:
Angiopoietin-related protein 3 (ANGPTL3) is secreted by the liver and is a hormone like protein involved in lipid metabolism and angiogenesis. ANGPTL3 is structurally similar to the angiopoietin family, which is involved in angiogenesis. It possesses a coiled-coil domain and fibrinogen-like domain, but no binding to the Tie family has been observed. ANGPTL3 has been found to be under gene expression regulation by LXR, and it has attracted interest as a new secretion factor.
Description:
This kit is a solid phase sandwich ELISA using 2 kinds of high specific antibodies. Tetra Methyl Benzidine (TMB) is used as coloring agent (Chromogen). The strength of coloring is in proportion to the quantities of Mouse angiopoietin-like 3.
