The Real Time PCR detection Kit Neoehrlichia mikurensis (Candidatus) comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Neoehrlichia mikurensis (Candidatus) detection by using qPCR.

GENERAL INFORMATION:Candidatus Neoehrlichia mikurensis is a Gram-negative bacterium that spreads among animals, mainly rodents. It is transmitted by ticks and can affect humans, causing neoehrlichiosis, which presents with symptoms such as fever and vascular complications. This pathogen usually affects immunocompromised individuals. Candidatus N. mikurensis is an intracellular pathogen and it will not grow on cell-free media, for this reason, PCR test are used for detection.
